I made the move. From Los Angeles, California to Denver, Colorado.
20 hours in a car (it should have been shorter but damn freeway construction)5 states crossed
And I made it to my new home in the up-and-coming Sunnyside neighborhood in beautiful Denver!
I was ready for an adventure and my cousin, Leo (not DiCaprio) was ready for a roommate. Or just had an extra room and wanted some company. I don't know…
But what he did not tell me was he was on his own adventure.Of renovating his entire house.
Which, lucky me, consisted of redoing the bathroom. The weekend I moved in. Meaning I had no bathroom for a week and a half.
No toilet. No shower.
Thank you Starbuck, Burger King, McDonalds and my cousin Brianne's house for the bathrooms and shower.
What did I learn from this?
I can survive not showering everyday. But I hate it. So never again.
I also learned that Leo can actually construct a bathroom. It will just take a month when he says 2 weeks, tops!
